Linbrook Services needed to remove and replace an entire platform at Stratford International Rail Station in under four months.
We started by removing the entire 1300 sq. m platform and then excavated and installed cable ducts, inspection pits and concrete foundations pads for monitor equipment.
This was followed by the installation of DDA-compliant tactile pavers to the platform and its complete resurfacing in tarmac.
Our teams worked around the clock to ensure the station was completed and operational for the Tuesday morning. In total, we removed approximately 400 tonnes of waste from the site, installed over 1000m of cable duct and laid 220 tonnes of tarmac.
